ASI Federal Credit Union built a new branch adjacent to an existing building. ASI made the decision to incorporate a total Tellerless lobby and move the tellers to the Integrated Teller Center.
Tellers that previously staffed a six position “walk up” teller line now service 12 Lobby Teller Units while comfortably seated in the secure and efficient Teller Center.
With all teller units easily in reach and serviceable from two sides, plus use of cash dispensers, the six tellers are able to process transactions from the 12 customer kiosks.
Where there used to be lines of members waiting in the old building, members now have very little wait time to be served.
Success of this branch has resulted in plans for additional branches to be built using Lobby Tellers and the Integrated Teller Center design.
The new branches will also incorporate Drive Thru customer kiosks that are served from the Teller Center as well.
